Our History

For nearly 125 years, Oakdale has served the Lord in impacting the nearby communities and the world.   One of the oldest congregations in the EFCA, we are proud of our heritage and are grateful for God's faithfulness to generations of believers.

The church was located one mile  north of the current location until 2007.  We saw many come to faith and go out to serve Jesus at home and abroad.  We have been blessed to be served by many faithful pastors and lay people.

Our history shapes who we are, and yet we are looking forward to engaging our hearts, our church family, and the not-yet family of God in our communities and world.

Our Mission

Our Mission at Oakdale is to love God, love people, and make disciples of Jesus Christ in all generations. We believe a disciple is one who has a relationship with God through Jesus Christ, and follows Jesus in obedience and faith.

Each of Oakdale's ministries are focused on growing in our knowledge of God through His Word, the Bible, and seeking ways to intentionally engage our lives with Him, with the family of God, and with the not-yet family of God in our homes, communities and world.
